Why La Ronge EMS?

La Ronge EMS is a privately run, Indigenous family-owned and operated Ambulance Service proudly serving Northern Saskatchewan since 1994.

Stationed on Treaty 6 Territory, nestled in the boreal forest on the shores of Lac La Ronge, we are a unionized service (HSAS) employing a dedicated team of paramedics. We provide Advanced Life Support care and Community Paramedicine to La Ronge, Air Ronge, Stanley Mission, and the neighboring reserves of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band (including Grandmother’s Bay, Sucker River, and Hall Lake).

If you want to test your skills, maximize your scope, and actually make a difference in a tight-knit community, you belong here.

Air Medevac Opportunities

Northern Saskatchewan contains hundreds of remote communities, fly-in destinations, and wilderness locations.

Through air medevac operations, our crews help ensure patients can access emergency medical care regardless of geography. These missions represent an important part of the service we provide and contribute to the unique nature of practicing paramedicine in the North.
